Miqdash Bethel Defined
The Sanctuary of the House of Yahweh — A Covenant Institution
MIQDASH BETHEL — A COVENANT INSTITUTION
Miqdash Bethel means The Sanctuary of the House of Yahweh. It is a covenant-based institution rooted in the Hebrew Tanakh, dedicated to pursuing peace and revealing that peace to all people, and nations through the revealed wisdom of Yahweh, the Elohim of Yisra'el. We do not follow the narratives of governments, religions, media, or political parties, because they have forsaken the Covenant. We follow the complete truth of Yahweh through the Covenant of Yahweh.
"And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth… and this is none other than the house of Elohim — this is the gate of heaven."
— Bereishit (Genesis) 28:12, 17
WHO WE ARE
Miqdash Bethel was founded by Elder Kepha Arcemont of New Orleans, Louisiana — blues-rock musician, vocalist, and covenant servant. This work spans music, covenant study, prophetic commentary, and formal peace documents addressed to world leaders — grounded exclusively in the authority of the Hebrew Tanakh as the revealed Covenant of Yahweh. (We are not affiliated with any other religious group or organization)
WHAT WE DO
Miqdash Bethel operates at the intersection of scripture, music, and covenant truth-telling:
- Producing formal covenant peace letters to world leaders engaged in the Israel-Iran-USA conflict and other conflicts of our time
- Providing commentary and research on current events through the lens of Yahweh's Covenant
- Teaching Covenant law through Lessons, Studies, Reports, and Documents — free from the opinions and traditions of men
- Music assembly through The Kepha Arcemont Experiment and Peace of Blues
Miqdash Bethel reveals the difference between:
- The ceremonial/sacrificial system — which required the Temple and is acknowledged by all parties (including Orthodox Judaism) to be suspended
- The moral, ethical, and covenant law — which the Tanakh itself declares eternal, written on hearts, accessible to all nations, and never suspended!
OUR FOUNDATION
The Covenant of Yahweh is not a religion, as defined by Yahweh. It is a governmental rule and plan for peaceful life and co-existence, given to all of humanity by the Sovereign Creator. It belongs to no single man and no single assembly as a personal agenda for profit or misuse.
Elder Kepha Arcemont makes no claim of greatness — only obedience. This Miqdash was not founded on human ambition but on a simple answer to a divine call: to understand Yahweh's name, to live by his covenant ways, and to seek His face.
It is founded in the hope that Yahweh's people — from every background and every nation — will find their way to understand and obey truth as the Creator has always desired:
"The Covenant of Yahweh is the eternal, binding agreement between the Creator and humanity, established through His own name, governed by His own instructions, and open to every nation willing to walk in it."
— Mission Statement — Miqdash Bethel Covenant Institution
"Now if you obey Me fully and keep My covenant, then out of all nations you will be My treasured possession. Although the whole earth is Mine, you will be for Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation."
— Shemot (Exodus) 19:5–6
"Here is the conclusion of the matter: fear Elohim and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
— Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) 12:13
"Let them construct a Miqdash for Me, that I may dwell among them."
— Shemot (Exodus) 25:8
"Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His Miqdash."
— Tehillim (Psalms) 96:6
"YAHWEH is my shepherd; I shall not lack. In pastures of tender grass He causes me to lie down; beside waters of rest He guides me. My soul He restores; He guides me in tracks of righteousness for the sake of His Name. Even when I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and covenant-love shall pursue me all the days of my life; YAHWEH — and I shall dwell in His house for length of days."
— Tehillim (Psalm) 23
Questions that are answered on this website!
Miqdash Bethel is doing exactly what the prophets of the Tanakh did — calling every nation back to the covenant of Yahweh, on the authority of the written text alone, without adding the authority of human traditions (Talmud, Church councils, hadith) over and above the text. That is not a modern reconstruction. That is what Nechemiah (Nehemiah), Ezra, and the returning exiles did after 70 years in Babylon with no Temple — they returned to the written word. The Tanakh (Old Testament).

WHAT IS MIQDASH BETHEL — AND HOW EVERY FAMILY CAN BECOME ONE
Miqdash Bethel means The Sanctuary of the House of Yahweh. But it is not a building. It is not a denomination. It is not a membership organization with dues and bylaws. It is not the possession of any man or any religion. Miqdash Bethel is a covenant driven Institution — a way of life grounded in the instructions of Yahweh as revealed in the Hebrew Tanakh.
And here is the truth that humbles us all: every family, in every nation, of every background and language, can create a Miqdash Bethel. The moment a household commits to living by the instructions of Yahweh — to pursuing justice, loving kindness, and walking in truth — that home becomes a sanctuary. That family becomes a house of Yahweh.
No corporate temple required. No corporate priest required. No permission from any institution of men required. Just a covenant made between an individual and their Creator. Yahweh does not require greatness. He requires faithfulness.
The world does not need more religion — it needs more covenant living. One family at a time. One covenant at a time. That is not our plan. That is Yahweh's design — older than any government, outlasting every empire, and still standing today.
Miqdash Bethel is not a movement built by men. It is a door left open by Yahweh for any soul willing to walk through it. We are only the doorkeepers. The house belongs to Him.
"As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."
— Yehoshua (Joshua) 24:15
This is the message of Yliyah (Elijah) the Prophet for the Last Days.
DOCTRINAL AUTHORITY — STANDING RULE OF MIQDASH BETHEL
The sole doctrinal authority of Miqdash Bethel Covenant Institution is the Tanakh (Old Testament) — the Written Torah only. When you read our pdf studies found within this website, we reference rabbis, classical scholars, and historical commentators (Rashi, Ramban, Rambam, Josephus, or others), we do so strictly as historical witnesses — men who observed, recorded, or commented on the text from their own time and context. Their observations are cited where they corroborate what the Tanakh text itself already teaches through the semantics of the Hebrew language and the structure of the covenant law. Their opinions, rulings, and doctrinal positions carry no binding authority for this institution. The Talmud, Church councils, and hadith are historical references only — never binding authority. Where a scholar's historical observation confirms the plain meaning of the text, that is noted. Where it does not, the Tanakh text alone governs.
THE INSTRUCTIONS OF YAHWEH — A COMPASS FOR ALL PEOPLE
The covenant of Yahweh as preserved in the Hebrew Tanakh was never designed for one nation, one race, or one era. It was designed for all of humanity — a divine moral compass that cuts through every barrier of culture, language, politics, and time.
No person is excluded from its invitation. No nation is beyond its reach. Yahweh made this covenant wide enough for every human being willing to receive it — not because any assembly declared it so, but because He did.
Yes, Yahweh chose a people — the Children of Yisra'el. And within that same covenant text is the open path for every nation and every person to walk in covenant with Him. The choosing of one people was never the exclusion of all others. It was the beginning of the invitation to all others.
When people live by these instructions, the result is not restriction but liberation — a life of genuine peace, purpose, and joy that no government, no ideology, and no amount of wealth can manufacture. The chaos the world experiences today — the wars, the corruption, the broken families, the fallen nations — is not evidence that the instructions failed. It is evidence that the world has not yet tried them.
We are not the answer to that chaos. Yahweh is. This Institution exists only to point in His direction.
Miqdash Bethel began with one man hearing a call he could not ignore. Kepha Arcemont does not present himself as a prophet, the founder of a new religion, or an authority over any person. He is a covenant servant — a man who read the Word of Yahweh at age 11, believed it, and said yes. What has grown from that yes does not belong to him. It belongs to Yahweh.
He claims no answers of his own. He points only to what the Tanakh has always said — that Yahweh has the answers, that His covenant is the only road to lasting peace, and that the invitation is open to every human being willing to walk in it.
True and lasting peace does not begin with this Institution. It begins the moment any human being returns to the instructions their Creator left behind. We are grateful to be part of that return. Nothing more.
"He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does Yahweh require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim."
